Determines color fastness to perspiration of human. The device consists of a S.S. frame which accepts 21 acrylic resin separator plates. Specimen of 100 X 40 mm are placed between the plates and mean is provided for clamping the plates under a standard load. Fabrics are treated for 30 minutes in two different solutions containing histidine. The unit containing specimen are then placed in a incubator and dried fabric. The change in color of each specimen and the staining of the adjacent fabrics are assesed with grey scale. | |
